Condolence: Dear uncle Charlie, I will miss you, but take peace in knowing that you are with dad, gram, pap and the rest of the family. I will always remember the Easter egg hunts we had at grams. (for some reason they stick in my mind when I think of you and gloria)I am sorry I couldn't come to Georiga. I am glad that richard june and her family could be there for your family.

Condolence: Gloria, I'm so sorry to hear about Charles. I really thought alot of Charles and you. He was always laughing and cutting up, But mostly he was always talking about his grandkids. I know that no words can ease your pain, but please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know. Your Friend, Kathy

Condolence From: Hartwell Nolan, LCDR,USN,ret.
Condolence: You were a real pleasure to be around and you will be missed very baddly by the Veterans of this area. Your Contributions, and leadership to this Nation, as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, as well as a leader in the American Legion, and the many leadership positions of the VFW will not soon be forgotten. As the three Volleys are sounded, "It has been said that the three Volleys are symbolic of :God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost." It is with certainty that you will be with Him. As the Honor Guard Chaplain ,it would have been my greatest pleasure to have been able to Honor and pay tribute to you, by presenting the Flag of our Nation to your Widow, and Family. May God Bless and keep them in these their hours of sorrow. To you Shipmate,as you go to fullfill you final set of orders from our Supreme Commander; I bid "Farwell, and Following Seas" for eternity
