Obituary for Ashley Newman

Ashley  Newman
Ashley Kay Newman, 29, of Cartersville, died suddenly Sunday, July 13, 2014. Born in Kingsport, Tennessee on March 7, 1985, she was the daughter of Robert E. Newman and Debbie Mulkey Boatner.
Ashley was a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and was currently employed by them in a management position. She was a member of Atco Baptist Church and attended Freedom Church in Acworth. She loved the Lord and had no doubt about where she was going when He called upon her. She was honest, understanding, patient, fun loving person who loved life and all that life had to offer. She was loved by many and always made time for everyone even with her busy schedule. She loved her job, new home, friends, family and the love of her life, Robbie Bagby. She loved all of her friends and families’ children as they were her own and was excited to be an aunt to baby Hallie. She had a contagious laugh, a wonderful smile along with a great personality. Ashley was a blessing to all she came in contact with and will be sorely missed. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Clarence Mulkey and grandfather, Charles Foster.
Survivors include her finance’, Robbie Bagby of Cartersville; her mother and step-father, Debbie and Donnie Boatner of Silver Creek; her father, Bobby Newman of Bean Station, Tennessee; her sister and brother-in-law, Kati and Wes Abernathy of Cartersville; her paternal grandmother, Jane Weimer of Conyers; her paternal grandfather, Gene Newman of Maryville, Tennessee; and maternal grandmother, Sara Mulkey of Rome.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 18, 2014 at Atco Baptist Church with The Reverend Brent Thompson and Mr. Jeffery Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Ms. Newman will be carried to the church on Friday to lie in state for one hour prior to the service.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 9 p.m., on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
