Obituary for Syble Hamby Nation

Syble Hamby  Nation
Mrs. Syble Hamby Nation age 54, of Madison, Georgia, formerly of Cartersville died Saturday, July 1, 2016. She was born July 9, 1961 in Floyd County and was the daughter of Syble Fowler Hamby and the late William B. Hamby.

Mrs. Nation attended Madison Church of God. She was very creative, making art out of trees and natural material. She had an unusual talent for making flowers grow and painting sculptures making them almost come to life. Mrs. Nation also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her granddaughters.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Nation; her mother, Syble Hamby; her son, Tony Hamby; her granddaughters, Jade Denise Hamby and Autumn Ruba Hamby; her brother, David Hamby and her niece, Tara Stephens.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Jeremy Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jessie Perkins, Jarrod Scoggins, Chris Knox, Michael Stephens, Jordan Tyler Cook and Michael Tosh.
