Carla Sue  Adams
Mrs. Carla Sue Boston Adams, age 71, of Cartersville, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. A native of Bartow County, she was born on January 28, 1945, the daughter of the late Louie J. Boston and Melow Barrett Boston.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her only child, Madison William (Matt) Adams who died on December 1, 1986 at the age of 15, who was her only angel son in this walk of life. She was also preceded in death by her sisters; Gladys Evans, Daisy B. Howell; her brother, David Boston; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. George Adams; her sister-in-law, Sheila Adams; her special aunts, Alice Barrett Croy and Martha Boston Cline; her special grandmother, Leila Barrett and special friend, Nancy Mitchell Whitley.

She is survived by her husband, Madison William (Dub) Adams of 47 years to whom she was married on May 17, 1969 at Friendship Baptist Church, where she is a member; her siblings, Mae Boston of Cartersville, Linda and Johnny Leachman of Euharlee; a brother, Lee and Robin Boston of Resaca; her uncles, Reverend Jerry and Betty Boston of Kingston, Ellis and Nancy Boston of Rome and Gary and Tonya Boston of Cartersville; brothers-in-law, Jimmy Adams and Wayne and Doris Adams of Cartersville; Reverend Sammy and Sherry Adams of Ellijay; her sister-in-law, Wanda Adams of Cartersville and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Howell of Columbia, South Carolina, Ted Howell of West Columbia, South Carolina, David Adams of Adairsville, Isaac Ball of Barnsley Garden, Gary Boston and Frank Perkins both of Cartersville. Honorary pallbearers will be her three nieces, Diane Evans Smith, Melissa Taylor and Jennifer Ball; special friend, Carolyn Baltzegar of Hilton Head, South Carolina, a dear aunt, Joanne Bohann of Cartersville, Theresa Boss Wade and Angela Boss Moore who are like family, Claudia Louann Darling of Kennesaw, who is like an adoptive daughter and last but not least two very supportive neighbors and special friends, Jean McDaniel and Monica Taylor of Cartersville.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 8, 2016 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Sammy L. Adams and Reverend Jerry Boston officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
