Obituary for Sophia Alexus "Lexie" Fultz

Sophia Alexus "Lexie" Fultz
Our beautiful heart warrior, Sophia Alexus “Lexie” Fultz, went home to be with Jesus, passing gently while in the arms of her loving Mommy on September 28, 2016. During her 3-1/2 years on this earth, Lexie waged a fierce battle with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) and fought with all of her might. Although Lexie fought CHD, she didn’t let it define her or slow her down. Sassy, strong, brave, determined, and incredibly loving, Lexie loved Minnie Mouse, hugs, laughter, and the color pink.

Lexie was born in Fulton County, Georgia, on April, 17, 2013. She resided in Bartow County and attended Cartersville Primary School as a preschooler. Her love of life was inspirational and contagious. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to be touched by her laughter, bright eyes, zeal and fight.

She is survived by her mother, Laura Fultz of Cartersville; her sister, Madelyn “Maddie” Kyleigh Fultz; her grandmother, Pam Thompson of Adairsville; her biological mother, Amanda Stanley of Cartersville; her foster mother, Sandra Palmer of Conyers; her uncle, Scott Wilcox of Cartersville; her aunt, Kristen Wilcox of Panama City Beach, Florida; her cousins, Vanna and Gunner Wilcox of Cartersville and Damian Patterson of Panama City Beach, Florida; along with several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor Eric Helms officiating. Interment will follow in Providence cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Wilcox and Jonathan Martin.

Sweet Lexie, fly high with the angels, dear one. You are sorely missed and forever treasured by your three Moms, cherished sister, and your fan club at Cartersville Primary School.
