Obituary for Betty Jo Davis

Betty Jo Davis, 84, of Cartersville, died on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Cleveland, Tennessee on April 10, 1932, the daughter of the late Clinton Epperson and Effie Beard Epperson. Mrs. Davis was a seamstress, a cook and worshiped all her children. She loved to garden, grow tomatoes and flowers, and enjoyed yard sales.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane Shepard of White; her sons, Danny Teague of Acworth, Madison Teague of Cartersville; her brother, Don Epperson; her sisters, Norma Stephenson, Oletta Kibble and Sue Falasco; her grandchildren, April Swanson of Cartersville, Claire Shepard of Cartersville, Allyson Shepard of Acworth, Shane Meyers of Cartersville and Justin Teague of Cartersville; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m, Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery with The Revered Joe Nix officiating. Interment will follow. The family will meet at the cemetery.
