Obituary for Ada Ridley

Ada  Ridley
Mrs. Ada Ridley, 79, of Calhoun, died Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Gordon hospital. She was born February 28, 1937 in Chatsworth, Georgia, the daughter of the late Wiley Virgel Ridley and Bessie Mae Linn.
Mrs. Ridley was a member of the Calhoun Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and very strong in her faith. She loved flowers and birds, was friendly and never met a stranger. She had a dry sense of humor and was a great wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Lennie Silvers, Jessie Findley, and brothers, Coleman Ridley, Henry Ridley and Freeman Ridley.
Mrs. Ridley is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Dianne White of Calhoun, Pamela Rose Postell (Jeff) of Calhoun, Charlotte Teitsort (Kevin) of Cartersville and Heather Ridley of Calhoun; her sons, Virgil James Barton (Clara Ann) of Elmore City, Oklahoma, Reuel Charles Barton (Lana) of Summerville; her sister, Bessie Mae Fouts of Jasper; her brothers, W.V. Ridley of Chatsworth, Harlan Ridley of Dawsonville, Randy Ridley of Chatsworth; along with 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Mr. Arthur Blalock officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion – Chatsworth cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2016.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ken Starkey, Robert Barton, Jacob Olson, Don Striplin, Tim Howard, Barry Adcock, and Larry Moore.
