Condolence: Dearest Family, I think of you each day and I pray to Billy and for you. Bill was my brother in law and I wanted you all to know how much I appreciated him and mind you I did not see him very often. He was good to my daughter when she was about 3 or 4. I remember Mary and Bill were taking their little family to Disney World. They had stopped by Mammaw's and they were leaving from there. They asked Annie, my daughter to go with them. Annie ended up going with Mandy and I think Missy with just the clothes on her back but she remembers that trip as young as she was. Mary and Bill did not have to do that!! Then when my son was going through some rough times...who came in and became my son's hero..it was Bill. He did not hesitate to get involved in helping. Billy became a mentor of mine in more than one way. As we have gotten older I saw Bill be of help to my mom by helping to move her twice. He did not have to do it but he did. He was always there for his daughters and Mary too. Billy loved my sis so very much. I know that. We are the once that are suffering because we miss him so. He was a gentleman and such a role model. We love and miss you.

Condolence: Ole Bill, it's taken this long for me to write this about you son you are greatly missed by all of us and I consider it a great achievement in my life to have known you and to finally meet someone who could as much of a smart butt as me! I greatly appreciate the time you spent with my son, giving him a job and offering him responsibilities that I couldn't bring myself to do. He has truly became a man under your mentoring. I hope my children can grow up to be the person you were. You were truly a man's man! God bless you and may you Rest In Peace! You earned it

Condolence: Bill was a great guy and a good friend. I was so sad to hear of Bill's passing. I was privileged to know Bill for several years and even played a few memorable rounds of golf with him. You didn't have to talk very long before conversation included his family and the deep pride of his girls. That brought a big smile and a unique look on Bill's face that glowed with his love for his girls. He was passionate about building his business. He was always willing to go and help other Business Owners when hit with storms or disasters, even though it meant being away from his. He loved golf and like the life he lived, he was fearless when he approached every situation. I am going to miss Bill, and am praying for Mary, Amanda, Melissa, Jessica, Jennifer, and Carrie, as well as the family that God will comfort you. (John 14)

Condolence: Mary and girls, I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I got to know Bill at the Cartersville CC. He was a great golfer, but more importantly than that... a great husband and a loving father. That was evident to everyone at the CCC as Bill enjoyed countless hours playing golf with Mary and his daughters. I also got to know Bill in business. We had just moved into our new house in Cartersville. First week in the house and we had frozen pipes and our new basement flooded. I called Bill at 10:00 pm and he had a crew from Servicemaster over there in 15 minutes !! Three hours later everything was cleaned up and blowers were put in place for the night. The next morning everything was dried up as if nothing had happened. He built a great business based on quality and service and treating others as he would like to be treated .. employees and customers alike. In summary, Bill was a great family man, friend and businessman. Congratulations on a life well llived. You set a good example for all of us. You will be missed.

Condolence: Bill was a good friend and I am truly better for knowing him. I will miss him and remember his great personality and jovial nature. He loved his family and it was always fun hearing the updates and how proud he was of his daughters. This was very tough news to hear and will make us all think about making sure to tell those we love how we feel about them.

Condolence: What can I say…Billy was the man! As a golfer and a golf partner, he displayed a patience for those that were more challenged…Me!  He was gracious. He once played a back nine with only a 4 iron as he shared his other clubs with the guy that didn’t bring a set! He didn’t miss a beat! Or a putt or a chip…
He took me to the Masters once in his newly acquired car…something called a GTR. Amazing car…but truly amazing golf. He just said…this is how you play! He was a couple putts away from turning pro…gracious every step.
We enjoyed multiple ServiceMaster convention golf tournament going back to the early days with Jim Wassell and Beth Okun. His goal was to win but more importantly negotiate deals from our corporate partners that would help him grow his business!
He was a proud husband and proud father of 5 beautiful girls! He never said…I wish I had a son…he said my girls could kick your butt…just wait! I used to tell him how unfair it was I was paying for private colleges while his girls got full rides at the Air Force Academy and Boston College. He just smiled and said weddings aren’t cheap! LOL
When people met Bill they would ask… How is it going today? His typical response was “if I were any better I would be twins!”
Bill knew how to search out those that would help him develop and grow. He went to Canada to figure out commercial…He networked well. He and Dave Stead wrote the best handbook for working trade shows…He could be the life of the party or just be happy to chill…When things would get quiet, he could energize any party…He told better Boudreau and Tibideau jokes than any Cajun I ever met…yes Huey, even you!
He was a brother from another mother…“Shake and Bake”!
He will be missed!
