Obituary for Lillian Baldwin

Lillian  Baldwin
Mrs. Lillian Blalock Baldwin, age 90, died on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Cartersville Medical Center. She was a native of Bartow County, born on February 20, 1927 to the late Carl Blalock and Ethyl Cox Blalock.

Mrs. Baldwin was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church, a member of the Red Hat Society and The Order of the Eastern Star. She was a volunteer at the hospital and had many special friends. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents is her husband, Roy H. Baldwin; her children, Steven, Anthony and Timothy Baldwin; her siblings, Paul and Richard Blalock and Becky Smith.

Survivors include her children, Glenda Bell and husband, James, Michael Baldwin and wife, Sylvia, Nancy Gaiser and husband, Bradford, and Jayne Wilson and husband, Bobby; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a large number of nieces and nephews; and her dog, Kasey.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverends James Surratt, Sammy Burgess and Larry Towe officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Bell, Michael Baldwin II, Ethan Wilson, Britt Hale, Korey Woodard and Eric Bell. Rick Holcomb, Phillip Jennings, Bo Blalock and Stephen Blalock will serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Parkinson’s disease Foundation.
