Obituary for George Barry Casey
Mr. Barry Casey, age 46, of Euharlee, died on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Mt. Berry Hospice in Rome. Born in Floyd County on May 22, 1970, he was the son of Shelby Edwards Jones and the late George Walter Casey.
Barry was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, drinking sweet tea and Arnold Palmers. He was previously employed by C.L. Tidwell Plumbing.
Survivors include his mother, Shelby Jones (Blayne); his sons, Nick Casey of Salt Lake City, Utah and Derek Casey (Shelby) of Ft. Polk, Louisiana; his grandsons, Derek Walter Casey and Jacob Casey both of Ft. Polk, Louisiana; his brother, Rodney Chastain of Rome; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
