Ms. Terrie Mercer Peeples, age 67, of Cartersville, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Townsend Park Health & Rehab following a lengthy illness.

Ms. Peeples was a native of Bartow County, born on August 6, 1949, to Elsie Cox Mercer Newton and the late Reverend Hubert Mercer.

She is survived by her mother; her daughters, Stacey Davenport and Claye Davis; son-in-law, Leonard Davis; granddaughters, Rhyne Davenport and Haley Davis; her sister, Connie Mercer; her brothers, Tim Mercer and Bruce Mercer; a special aunt and uncle, Linn and Martha Mercer; along with several other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Doug Cox officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. on Friday prior to the service.
