Condolences

Condolence From: Joel Sasse
Condolence: I finally found SFC Stewart. I served with Louis Stewart 1970-71, Ft. Richardson, AK, 172nd Infantry Brigade. He was my First Sargent, I was his clerk. He was a career soldier and I was drafted so we could not have been more different from each other. However, we were both from Indiana and I so looked up to that man and he developed a fondness for me as well! We got along with each other so good and I absolutely loved that man. I always said that if ever I found myself in a tight spot I would want Sgt. Stewart in my foxhole any day. There are not many days that go by that I don't think of him and our time together. I am so glad that I was finally able to locate this information and please........to the family of Sgt. Louis A. Stewart.......please accept my most sincere condolences. I am proud to have known him, may he rest in eternal piece.
Sincerely,
Joel Sasse
