Obituary for Stanton Allen

Stanton McKenzie Allen known as Stanley or Son, was born on December 9, 1939 in Smithfield District, Manchester, Jamaica West Indies to Vincent Allen and Miriam (known as Eliza) Dennis. There he grew up and worked as a farmer to take care of his number one priority, his family. He later migrated to the United States where he diligently worked hard at multiple jobs, one being South Oaks Hospital and Broadlawn Manor Nursing Care Center where he did many years of service. In 1997 he moved to Cartersville, Georgia where he spent his remaining life with his very good friends and neighbors, and remarried the love of his life and mother of his four children, Miss Inez.

His humorous, jovial personality would have everyone laughing and at ease in an instant. He loved to laugh and reminisce on the family history and found joy in sharing it with his children, grandchildren and close friends. His utmost greatest enjoyable hobby was being outside taking care of his plants, field, vegetables, animals and kindly giving of himself, teaching others how to care for and appreciate those special things that God has given us. His describable talent there was truly remarkable.

Stanton leaves to mourn his passing, wife Inez, sons Glenton and daughter-in-law, Paulette, Errol (deceased) and Cecil; a daughter, Margaret; his step-children, Dannie, Devon, Norris, Rose and son-in-law, Clive and Pearline (son-in-law, Lionel); 22 grandchildren; 20 step- grandchildren; a brother; a sister and a host of other dear family and friends.

Stanton will be sorely missed and forever be in our hearts.
