Mrs. Kimberly Whitener Hampton, 35, wife of David Hampton, died on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at her residence. She was a native of Bartow County, born on May 14, 1982, the daughter of Peggy Hale Whitener and the late Mark Whitener.

Kimberly was a good mother, wife and daughter. She was a very caring, loving and outgoing person. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, writing poetry and doing hair and nails.

She is survived by her husband, David Hampton of Cartersville; her mother, Peggy Whitener of Aragon; her daughters, Kaylee Cornwell of White and Morgan Kuykendall of Adairsville; her son, Bradley Kuykendall of Adairsville; two brothers, Lamar Whitener and Timothy Whitener both of Cartersville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Jimmy Hogan officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon – 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service.
