Obituary for Eugene Morrow

Eugene  Morrow
Mr. Eugene Morrow, 83, of Adairsville passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Powder Springs on July 18, 1934, he was the son of the late Jessie Lloyd Morrow and Ploma Dell Evans Morrow.

Gene was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church and also the Brotherhood. He was owner/operator of Morrow Radiator Service for 30 plus years. Gene had a great sense of humor and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding horses. He was generous with all he had. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Morrow; siblings, Geneva Little, Hazel Jenkins, Helen Moore, Annette Otting Evans and Roosevelt Morrow.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Joaileen Bradley Morrow of Adairsville; his children, Teresa Handy of Fort Payne, Alabama, Robin McDougle of Collinsville, Alabama, Deborah Pruitt of Cartersville; Michelle Ralston of Calhoun, Wanda Carr and Rhonda Gilliam both of Cartersville, Michael Morrow of Subligna, Georgia and Russell David Morrow of Cedar Bluff, Alabama; his brothers, Robert Morrow (Joan), Elbert Morrow, and Hershel Morrow (Sharon) all of Cartersville; brother-in-little, Tommy Little of Cartersville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Donnie Summey and Reverend Donald Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Center Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Gilliam, Chase Ashworth, Trent Morrow, Jack Darnell, Mike Kiser and Jason Hammond.
