Leonard Henry  Noland
Mr. Leonard Henry Noland, 75, of White, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born in Chatsworth, Georgia on October 17, 1942, he was the son of the late Frank Noland and Lillie Bell Noland.
Mr. Noland enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had his own landscaping business for 43 years. He was a man who would do anything for anybody. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 7 brothers and 4 sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth Bennett Noland; his children, Myra Noland, Shirley Noland, Buddy Noland (Karissa), Nell Newhouse (Raymond), Roy Overby, Jr. (Carrie), Tina Epps (Shane), Teresa Cox (Bobby), David Noland (Tammy), Faye Weza (Will); 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Sue Shook and Ernest Noland; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Wofford’s Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Keith Willard officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends from Noon – 1:00 P.M. on Thursday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
Roy Overby, Jr., Buddy Noland, Raymond Newhouse, Bobby Cox, Gary Cox and Cole Eley will serve as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Levi Newhouse, Austin Noland, Jordan Overby and Buddy Noland, Jr.
