Obituary for Jamie Green

Mr. Jamie Lamar Green, 45, of Cartersville, died on Thursday, November 9, 2017. He was born in Rome, Georgia on October 8, 1972 to Vickie Diane Adams and the late Alton Wesley Green.
Jamie loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed working on computers and was mechanically inclined. He was a very spiritual, very giving and selfless person.
Survivors include his mother, Vickie Green Dupree of Cartersville; his sister, Kim Knott (Steve) of Cartersville; his brothers, Al Wesley Green (Sherry) of Cartersville, Jeremy Dupree of Cartersville; special aunt, Sue Bean of Cartersville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Reverend Scott Shepard officiating. Interment will follow in the Raccoon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
There will be no procession to the cemetery. A committal service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Raccoon Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cody Chupp, Trevor Green, Billy Adams, Stacy Adams, Chandler Dupree and Rodney Brown.
