Obituary for Geraldine Boswell

Geraldine  Boswell
Ms. Geraldine A. Boswell, 69, of Adairsville, died on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at her residence. Born in Floyd County on May 27, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Paul & Lily Mae Hilliard.

Geraldine was a member of Snow Springs Baptist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and did everything possible to make their lives better and fulfilled. She was a warrior and fought her cancer every day in every way all the way to the end.

She was preceded in death by her mother & father, Paul & Lily Mae Hilliard; her siblings, Lillian Fricks, Nora LaFleur, Alford Hilliard; a daughter, Angela Dean Adams and a grandson, Dakota McFarland.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Adams Welchel; son, Gerald Adams and daughter-in-law, Narissa Adams; granddaughters Chyenne Welchel and Sidnee Welchel; her grandson, Dorian Adams; her great grandchild Kayson Cain; her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Penny Hilliard; her sisters and brother-in-law, Pearl and Doyle Caber and Mildred Prichett, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home chapel, with Pastor Gloria Gainor of the Lighthouse Evangelistic Church of Prayer Cartersville Ga, officiating. The family will receive friends and family on Sunday January 21, 2018 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Snow Springs Baptist Church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Walter Hilliard, her nephew Gary Jones and Gary’s two sons Cody Jones and Daylan Jones.
