Mr. Darrell Vineyard Brooks, 67, of Douglasville, died on Wednesday, February 07, 2018 at his son’s residence.

Darrell was born on July 19, 1950 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Vineyard Brooks and Betty O’Neil Brooks.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and of the IBEW Local 613 for 40 years. He was an electrician by trade.

Survivors include his children, Brandon Brooks and wife Katherine, Meghan Hernandez and husband, Eddie, Dustin Brooks and wife, Chelsea and Lauren Free and husband, Travis; l grandson, Riley Brooks; sisters, Vicki Wilk and Denise Burke; and a brother, Herschel Brooks.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Interment will be private.
