Condolences

Condolence From: Christy Dean
Condolence: I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the loss you have suffered! Please know that God is a God of all comfort and he will be there for you during this time! (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) Psalms 34:18 tells us that God is close to the broken-hearted and he saves those crushed in spirit. Yes, God truly cares for you! Go to him in prayer and he will provide you with "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding " - Philippians 4:6,7. Jesus said "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." -John 11:25. Also, we read at John 6:40- “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day.” Yes, God truly cares about us and Jesus tells us we will see our loved ones again! I hope this brings you a measure of comfort as you endure this most difficult time.

Condolence: My condolences to the Suite families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear Russell. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will inherit the earth and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you. For more encouraging thoughts, please visit jw.org
