Obituary for Eunice Burns

Eunice  Burns
Mrs. Eunice Elizabeth Burns, 93, of White, died on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at her residence. She was born to George Wilson and Mary Tillery Wilson on September 5, 1924 in Jasper, Georgia.

Mrs. Burns was a member of Five Forks Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, doing crafts and working in her flower garden. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Grady Burns.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Gail Overby (Frank) of Cartersville, Betty Gurley (Danny) of White, Helen Daley of Carterville, Carol Temples (Danny) of Taylorsville and Glenn Stewart, Jr. (Joanett) of Cartersville; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Billy Mundy and The Reverend Byron Tillery officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Thursday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
