Obituary for Rebecca Ferguson

Mrs. Rebecca “Reba” Outland Ferguson, 57, of Cartersville, died on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Kindred Hospital. Born on August 16, 1960 in Mildenhall, England, she was the daughter of the late David Edward Outland and Mildred Lucile Cole.

Mrs. Ferguson was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. She loved her grandchildren, loved to cook, bake, and loved her fur babies. She also loved to read and enjoyed the Renaissance Faire. She loved people, baseball and was a lifelong Cubs fan. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lucile and Renis Cole; her father, David and Bel Outland; her father in law, James Ferguson; her son, Aaron Keith Ferguson; and her granddaughter, Hailey Elizabeth Ferguson.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Randy Lee Ferguson, of Cartersville; her mother in law, Ellen Ferguson, of Emerson; her daughter Brekke Shelby Ferguson and partner, Lorinda “Rin” Adams, of South Bend, Indiana; her son, Adam Seth Ferguson and his wife Stephanie, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her grandchildren, Kerowyn Taler Ferguson, of South Bend, Indiana, Erin Faith, and James Curtis Ferguson, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her sisters, Ann Irby of Gretna, Louisiana, Melissa Stockdale, of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and beloved nieces and nephews.

Time of fellowship will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor DaRon Henson officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
