Obituary for Victor Chambers

Victor  Chambers
Mr. Victor Eugene Chambers, 60, of Cartersville, died on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Cartersville Medical Center.

He was a native of Bartow County, born on July 14, 1957, the son of Willa Mae Smith Chambers and the late Roy Chambers.

Victor was a member of Atco Baptist Church, the Cartersville Masonic Lodge #63, the Cartersville Order of Eastern Star #329 and Present Worthy Patron. He was previously employed by IUOE Local 926 as a crane operator before retiring. Preceding him in death along with his father are his sister, Renee Stark; his grandparents, Sam and Jessie Chambers and Homer and Toddie Mae Smith.

Survivors include his mother, Willa Mae Chambers; his children, Heather Mann (Brent) and Amanda Hendrix; his grandchildren, Chase Hendrix, Jayden Hendrix, Megan Hall, Brenton Mann and Dorothy Mann; his brothers, Dennis Chambers (Lisa) and Steven Chambers; special nephew, Braxton Hefner and other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Atco Baptist Church with The Reverend Mike Boatfield and The Reverend Doug Harris officiating.

Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery with full Masonic Rites. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 5- 8 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. Mr. Chambers will be carried to the church on Saturday, where he will lie-in-state from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service.

The Masons will serve as pallbearers.
