Obituary for Donald Bohn

Donald  Bohn
Mr. Donald Bohn, 70, of Cartersville, died on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Kindred Hospital. Born on September 13, 1947 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late William T. Bohn and Kathlene Allmon Bohn.

Mr. Bohn was a veteran, having served in the United States Airforce. He was a member of Atco Baptist Church, and also a member of the SIGMA CHI fraternity. He loved his grandchildren, enjoyed working in his yard, and loved a little cash in his pocket.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, William Patrick Bohn. Survivors include his wife, Gay Holloway Bohn; his children, William Chad Bohn, Casey Lee Bohn (Angie), Tara Kaye VanOrder (Bob), Shea Marie Wade (Nick); his grandchildren, Bryce, Ian, Holly, Collier, and Graeme VanOrder, Brylie and Brody Bohn, River and Avery Wade, plus one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30th, 2018 at Atco Baptist Church with the Reverend Mike Boatfield, and Reverend Doug Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Atco Baptist Church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Guy Holloway, Glen Holloway, Emmett Holloway, Barry Price, Nick Wade, and Bob VanOrder.
