Peggy Cantrell Haney, 65, of Cartersville, died on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Born in Detroit, Michigan on August 19, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Cantrell and Elaine Manous Newman.

Ms. Haney was a member of the Church of God of Union Assembly. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Thomas Haney; and siblings, Rhonda Naiser, Loren Cantrell and Kim Milner.

Survivors include her son, Rhett Williams (Toni); her grandchildren, Jacob, Wesley and Abigail Williams; her sisters, Ramona Holmes, Debbie Roberts and Melinda Mittenmeyer; and brother, Mark Newman.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Jeff Gentry officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon – 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service.
