Obituary for Jewel Elaine Williams
Jewel Elaine Williams, 81, of Taylorsville, died on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Redmond Regional Hospital.
Born in West Palm Beach, Florida on February 2, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Fitz Fitzgerald and Louise Fitzgerald.
Ms. Williams was a member of Euharlee Baptist Church. She was always willing to help anyone, anytime, anyplace. All who met Ms. Williams loved her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Williams; her son, Todd Bigbee; and her granddaughter, Jessica Henderson.
Survivors include her daughters, Sheri (Frank) Hicks, Melissa Mann; stepdaughter, Melanie (John) Sullivan; stepsons; Jim (Susan) Williams, Scott (Scott Sisks) Williams; grandsons, Tyler Cunningham, Sydney Cook, Samantha Williams; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 3, 2018 at Euharlee Baptist Church, with Pastor Chris West officiating, and eulogy by Butch Emerson. Interment will follow in Euharlee Baptist Church cemetery. Ms. Williams will lie-in-state from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Serving as pallbearers will be Punkin Hall, Sam Carrol, Judd Moss, Tyler Cunningham, Tony Lempe, Jim Williams, Scott Williams, and John Sullivan.
