Obituary for Vennie B. Brown

Vennie B.  Brown
Vennie Bell “Tinsy” Brown, 82, of Cartersville, died Friday, April 13, 2018 at Cartersville Medical Center.

She was born in Canton, Georgia on April 26, 1935, the daughter of the late Mason Hill and Ollie Leonard Hill.

Ms. Brown, beloved mother and grandmother, loved her children, grandchildren and took great pride in her family. She enjoyed gardening and meeting new people. She was a hardworking and conscientious lady who was loved and cherished by her family.

Survivors include her four sons, Terry Jenkins of Atlanta, Barry Harkey of Cartersville, Tim Harkey of Cartersville and Mike Kennedy and his wife, Chelene of Peru, South America; grandchildren, Amy Bauder of Cartersville, Mikayla Kennedy of Peru, South America, Michael, Joshua, Zachary and Zane Kennedy all of Peru, South America; great-grandchild, Caleb Bauder; great-great-grandchildren, Addy and Easton Bauder; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Evangelist Dean McNeese and Pastor Bryan Baggett officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Kennedy, Joshua Kennedy, Zachary Kennedy and Mark Simpson.

Flowers will be accepted, but for those who choose, donations can be made to the New Life Children’s Home, via Central Missionary Clearinghouse, P.O. Box 219228, Houston, Texas, 77218-9228 in memory of Vennie B. Brown.
