Chuck and I are the same age and grew up in Ford City together, living one street away from each other. We went to Holy Trinity School in grades 1-8, attended FCHS and graduated in 1967. Most of my memories of Chuckie are from our shared classroom hours. He was smaart, kind, and funny. We also shared a strong Slovak heritage, typical of many Holy Trinity families. I admire Chuckie the most for how he rebuilt such a positive life after his horrific injuries. He is an outstanding example of a fine, fine man nurtured in an immigrant rich smalltown, USA. Rest in Peace
